It was a pleasure to meet little Delaney Marie for her in-home newborn session and see her family again, including big sister McKenna and fur-sibling Roxy! I first met McKenna and Roxy at McKenna’s newborn session four years ago, which seems nearly impossible to believe – how time flies! I’m just smitten with Roxy, who is the model fur-sibling. They call pitbulls the nannie dog for a reason. She’s a great protector and snuggler of her little humans. McKenna and Roxy were stars on Out of the Pits website for some of a sweet shot of the two of them – kisses from Roxy – and here we are again with baby sister, little ‘Laney-bug,’ as her mother affectionately refers to her. Delaney, the little nugget, seemed to be perfectly at ease throughout her session, enjoying the cuddles and snuggles of her big sister and family. My heart swelled when I captured their family portrait, including curious Roxy. So sweet! And we even got a repeat shot of the little princess with her Daddy’s badge – just like big sister McKenna had. Mom pointed out that Dad’s badge number was identical to Delaney’s birthday (3/19) – just like McKenna’s was at the time! Wow! Talk about serendipity. The icing, though, may be the adorable lady-bug shot and Delaney couldn’t have pulled it off any better.
Congratulations, K-family, and welcome to the world, little Delaney! Enjoy all those sister snuggles of both human and canine.
