Well, this year's weather has been something, to say the least, with rainy weekends and excessive heat.  Erica and Justin rescheduled their summer engagement session multiple times, but we finally scored with a beautiful sunkissed late afternoon at Peebles Island in Cohoes, NY.  I love being flexible with portrait sessions, since we have the luxury of a bit more control, unlike during structured events and wedding days. When planned far enough in advance, we can be sure to capture the best setting and conditions for you!

Erica and Justin wanted to capture a summery vibe for their engagement photos, since they will be marrying on a beach in Delaware next summer.  I found some quiet spots for them to relax and enjoy one another's company, with some summery settings and dare I say, a bit of a beachy feel in a location that was close for them and convenient.  A summery beach engagement session in the middle of the Capital District - it's a mood, not just a location.  I'm glad it worked out!
